Central Warehousing Corporation Appoints iWare as SAMO at Kandla CFS
Ahmedabad / Kandla, India – Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) has appointed iWare Supply Chain Services Limited as the Strategic Alliance Management Operator (SAMO) at its Container Freight Station (CFS) in Kandla, Gujarat. The appointment marks an important step towards strengthening structured operations and efficient logistics management at one of India’s key maritime trade locations.
The selection has been made through a competitive and transparent process, with the objective of improving operational efficiency, cargo handling processes and overall service delivery at the Kandla CFS. The facility plays a critical role in supporting EXIM trade through western India by enabling smooth movement of containerised cargo.

Under the strategic alliance, iWare Supply Chain Services Limited will manage day-to-day operations at the Container Freight Station, including coordination of container handling, interface with transport and rail operations, and adherence to operational and compliance standards prescribed by CWC. The collaboration aims to enhance turnaround time, improve process discipline and strengthen customer confidence.
